Welcome Back!
So in 2014, subscription boxes became all the rage-there are boxes for everything from dog treats and toys to crafts to clothes to snacks! I definitely am a subscriber to my fair share of boxes and I have found a new one to help drain my bank account!
I am a big snacker. During the day, I find myself reaching for wavy lays and dip, a candy bar, cheese and crackers..really anything quick. I have been gaining a little bit of weight lately so I am making a change to snack healthier. I came across two subscription boxes and specialize in healthy snacking options- Graze and NatureBox
I will give a quick summary review on each box complete with pictures and prices then reveal my favorite and why at the end!
GRAZE
Graze is a snack subscription box. Every month, they send you a small (fits in a mailbox) sized box containing 4 trial sized snack options. Each box is just over $6 with free delivery. You are able to sign up for a bi-weekly or monthly ship options. Once you subscribe to Graze, you are able to pick out your snacks.
They use a simple, quick and easy rating system for all of their products:
Trash: you don't like it and they will never send it to you.
Try: you don't know if you will like it but you are open to trying it.
Like: you have tried this item or something similar and would enjoy receiving it.
Love:something that you have tried, really like and that you would want to see a lot more.
This is a great system as you are able to change it as you go. A great perk about Graze is their customer service. I really don't like Siracha or Siracha flavored items and one made it into my box. I contacted them and they compensated me right away no questions asked.
Another awesome thing about Graze is that they are always coming out with new snack options and go along with the seasons-in November they had 5 pumpkin flavored options. The nice thing about Graze is that their boxes are portion controlled. Although these snacks are a healthier choice compared to regular chips, they should still be eaten in moderation and this makes it easy!

NATUREBOX

NatureBox sends 5 full sized bag snack options for $19.95 per month. When you sign up for NatureBox, they first send you a trial size box with snack options that they have picked out for you. After your first box is ordered, you are able to go into their snack section and add snacks to your "pantry" that you think might be yummy. NatureBox then picks five items from your list and your box will be made. NatureBox has over 100 snack options to choose from and they too pick items that are in season.

RESULT
So the verdict here is: Graze! NatureBox is nice because they have full sized packages which are ideal for traveling but, I feel like Graze has a much better selection of snacks and flavors. Graze has also said that they will start carrying full sized snacks soon. As of 2/15, Graze does have a full sized snack option! The customer service, packaging, and flavor combos are total winners for me!
Don't forget, if you use my referral code, you will receive your 1st and 5th box free!
Have you tired either of these snack boxes? What are your thoughts?

  1. Thanks for sharing! I'm subscribed to Graze and I really like them! I had a few of the same things you did, those Banana Caramel Dippers we're SO good! But I've never tried Nature Box, that's cool that they are giving you more full sizes.
