That New Year's Thing!

Hi lovelies. Happy New Year

So, this whole week has pretty much been a weekend for me! J was also off on Thursday so, that was really nice.

2. I semi started my New Year's work out routine on Tuesday. My friend, Jackie and I did 7,000 steps around the new rowing complex in town with my furbabes. I treated myself to a long relaxing bath afterwards complete with glittery pink bath water courtesy of Lush!

3. New Year's Eve. J got home from work around 5pm. We just snuggled with one another and the dogs for a few hours while watching game shows. After a while, we decided that we would first have dinner at Outback and then try to head downtown. In Sarasota, we drop a pineapple at midnight..a little odd but, a fun experience nonetheless.

4. This whole week was pretty much spent with family. I met my dad for breakfast on New Year's Eve then went to my parents house and he showed me how his electric bikes worked! He is just the coolest. I love him. On New Year's day, we celebrated John's grandmother's birthday. We had her and her boyfriend over and I cooked for the four of us! After dinner, we watched the remainder of the Rose Bowl. It was super fun.

5. If you are a monogram lover, GroopDealz has amazing discounts right now on all things monogrammed for the upcoming seasons! They have a bunch of 'unfinished' wood letters and designs that you could turn into a fun DIY project!
I plan to spend the majority of my weekend crafting and yard sale-ing to find the perfect items for a big DIY project that is coming up soon!

I hope each and everyone of you had an amazing New Year's with your friends and loved ones!  Don't forget to link up with these ladies:
