The Newest Addition:Our Bar Cart

Hi. My name is Sarah and I am addicted to Pinterest and Target.
I don't know about y'all but these are just two things I can't say no to. What makes it worse is the fact that I am an impulse buyer-like bad!
During the holiday season, I was obviously keeping myself busy pinning fun decor and DIY ideas, catching up on my fav blogs and seeing their decor ideas and shopping...lots of shopping. It was THE DAY BEFORE Thanksgiving that I decided to add a new little gem into our living space. Mind you, this past Thanksgiving was the first time I hosted so, you'd think that my mind would be focused on how many potatoes I needed or if we had enough eggs but instead, it was set on these:

A Bar Cart. Why? Well, 1. more space to decorate 2. it's cute 3. um..why not? 4. I think they are much more classy than pulling out the bottle of vodka from the back of the cabinet under the kitchen counter.
Anyways, I made up my mind that we had to get one and started pinning ideas and shopping around for the best price. I settled on this one from Target. It was $129.00 originally but, I had a furniture coupon and they were running a special holiday deal so my out the door price ended up being $88.00 (reason number 5 for wanting one...uh it was a steal!
After picking up my new beauty, I ran to Hobby Lobby (for decor purposes, obvs!) and to the liquor store...because what is a bar cart without liquor?
So, after my impromptu morning of errands, this was the end result:

details
bar cart $88.00
white vases $12.99-$17.99
gold trimmed candle holders $17.99
wine glasses $4.00 ea.
gold striped pitcher $25.00
wine rack $13.88 pier one
serving tray $14.00 hobby lobby
candles $9.99 ea. hobby lobby
paper straws $5.50 hobby lobby
pumpkins $3.75-8.75 hobby lobby
flowers $12.99 fresh market floral
Clearly, Nadine (the bar cart) was decorated for the holidays in these pictures. Most of the items I used for decor are year-round appropriate minus the trees and such. I just love our new little addition and she is so much fun to decorate!
