#breakyoumake

Happy Monday loves! Today joining in on Chobani's #breakyoumake campaign. National Break You Make day is June 3. Everyone could use a break every now and again, right? right.

So today, I am going to share with you someone in my life who not only needs a break but also someone who inspires me to be a better version of myself each and everyday.

This guy right here is John aka the man behind the blog! You can read more about him here. In short, he is 27 years old, a full time student pursuing a business degree, and a full time employee at a local produce delivery company.

John and I met in May 2013. We really "hit it off" once we finally met. We spent our first few dates doing the typical dinner& a movie thing but what made it special was the late night talks we would enjoy together while talking about life, our goals, and family aspirations.

John is literally one of the hardest workers I know. For the past two years, he has been waking up at 4am and working at the produce place until about 3 or 4 in the afternoon. That's twelve hours y'all. And, he kicks butt at work. He jumps in and out of the back of his truck, carries and pushes heavy loads of produce into each of the companies, cleans and washes his truck each day and on top of all of that, stays late to do any odds and ends! #dedication Some exciting news is that starting tomorrow, he will be promoted to the purchasing manager. This means that he will be going to the market in tampa at midnight to get all of the produce for each stop. He will no longer be doing deliveries during the day but he will be running the show at night!

If that isn't enough exhausting work in itself, he also takes classes at a local college in pursuit of his bachelors degree. In the two years that I have known him, he has never missed a class or forgotten to turn in an assignment. again, #dedication and more than I can say for myself.

Although there are a lot of people in my life who I think could deserve to take a break, I knew  right away that my top pick for the Chobani #breakyoumake campaign would be John. As our relationship gets stronger and more involved, topics such as getting married, buying a house and having children have been brought up. I feel like for most girls this is something that we all wait and hope for.

The most admirable feature of him though is the timeline he has set and the way he wants to go about starting our next chapter in life. He has said that he wants to be able to provide his children with the best life possible. He doesn't want them to go without and I agree. We had a similar up bringing which is why I think we see eye to eye on a majority of important life decisions.

J is such a hard worker and shows an incredible amount of dedication. He inspires me each and everyday to be a better me. Even after his long days, he insists on doing this with me or for me such as running errands, making dinner, and watching some of my favorite shows regardless of how tired he is. He is truly such an amazing guy who deserves a break!

Do you know someone who deserves a break??
