Get Fit Thursdays {Work Out Fashion}

Hi dolls! I am collaborating with Alicia from Being Holy and Healthy and Tayler from the Morrell Tale for our series, Get Fit Thursdays. The purpose of this collab is to share our tips and motivation strategies with you as well as fresh and healthy recipes.

A big part of working out for me is being comfortable and stylish..now you may be thinking "you can't be that concerned about working out if you are worried about what you look like" but, that is not true. I like to feel confident and I personally do not feel confident in my boyfriends baggy tshirt and ratty sweatpants especially because I also typically go to the gym either before running errands or after so, I don't want to look like a hot ass mess. However, this does not mean that I will be paying $40+ for one shirt!

I have put together a few things that I would consider my "top" go to picks for workout clothes! and, they are all super affordable!

for tops, I really like the tanks and t's made from the dri-fit type material. These AVIA singlet tanks are only $7.86 and found at Walmart. They come it literally every color. I have about 8 of these tanks. This brand also has quarter zip jackets and short sleeve t's made from the same material.

for bottoms, I like to have a mix of regular shorts with the inner lining, cropped leggings, and spandex bike shorts. Walmart also carries all of the bottoms shown (minus the monogram ones which I will get to in a moment)
Danskin 2Fer Running Shorts $9.86
AVIA Bike Shortie $9.86
AVIA Cropped Leggings $9.86

now, of course, no workout wardrobe would be complete without a monogrammed set. This set is from Gladeville Farmhouse

What do you wear while working out?

  1. Work out clothes are one of my favorite things to buy! I am always finding an excuse to buy them! I have a Banana Republic card and every time I spend a certain amount they send me a $10 rewards that I can use at any of their stores - including Athleta, Gap and Old Navy...so I always save them up until I have about $50 and buy workout clothes!

  2. Cute stuff! The majority of my workout stuff comes from target, but I do have a few lululemon items that I'm obsessed with.

  9. LOVE the monogrammed shorts, too cute! Most of my workout clothes come from Target and ON, but I do lust after some Lululemon items. I just can't ever bring myself to spend the $$ on it :-P

  10. Love that you chose cheap finds. It's crazy how much some workout clothes cost. I definitely can't justify spending more on clothes that I'm going to sweat in than on my regular clothes, so I love these picks :)

  12. I always choose bright fun workout shoes to make working out a little bit more fun. I need to bring that mentality in my workout clothes too.
