From Runge to Ricker:Our Save the Dates {pt.7}

First off, why does the 'abbreviation' for Save the Date have to be S T D?! I wrote my august and september to do lists in my planner and instead of spelling out s-a-v-etc, I just wrote "STDs"...it was not until this morning that it dawned on me that

"send out STD's" may not look the best in a planner...#thestruggle

anyways, we have designed, proofed, finalized, printed, and received our Save the Dates from Wedding Paper Divas

and here they are:
because we are planning on having very formal wedding invitations, we wanted a more fun and casual "STD". Also, since these will be sent right around the time football season starts again, the jerseys are super fitting!

We also ordered personalized stamps! (expensive, yes! cute, yes! practical, eh. necessity, yes!)
yes, these are actual real stamps!

and finally, our wedding website is complete:

How do you think we did on our save the dates and website?

  8. I love your Save the Dates!! And the stamps! I may have to get some for our wedding invitations! That is funny about the STD abbreviation...but even funnier is that for about a year those were the initials of my high school I went to St. David's and we would chant STD STD as a cheerleader and finally they changed it after we were getting made fun of by other schools..now they are SDS.

  12. LOL I always thought the same thing about the acronym for save-the-dates, and after working in insurance it's the same acronym for short-term-disability :-P

  13. I feel your awkwardness. I thought the same thing, but went ahead and kept using STDs. I'd just explain if anyone looked at me funny.
