What is better than Friday?! well, a four day weekend of course!
this week was a tad bit hellish as the kids in my classroom have been in rare form...all week.
thankfully though, today is a half day for me and I will not be woken up on Monday morning by a 5am alarm. So, in usual fashion, lets get on with this Friday
1. Florida Skies
ICYMI, I posted this picture
on my instagram last night. I definitely complain a lot about living in florida as there are no seasons other than hot and hotter, the summers are miserable, and it is all flat but, the skies are more often than not, breath taking. My favorite times to snap sky pictures would be right before/after a storm, early mornings on the beach or late afternoons on the bridges.
2. Lush Baths
I was really disappointed in myself as I was cleaning the guest bath after Johns momma left and I found my lush bath bomb stash. I have seriously been slackin' on the baths lately. This is such a great time for me to pamper myself, catch up on blog posts, and just relax.
So, the other night right after I got home, I drew myself a pink glitter bath #thankslush
3. Almost Wife Life
Y'all, J really spoils me. between taking me out to dinner, leaving me sweet notes on the bathroom mirror, and buying me flowers, I have to stop and just take it all in. Planning our wedding is certainly a task but I am so excited to be so close to marrying my best friend and the sweetest man out there.

4. Breakfast Shakes
no, not the $5 ones from the store or $30 shakeology... homemade and healthy shakes! Since I am back on a regular work schedule, it is important for me to remember to fuel up in the mornings. I however have never been and never will be a sit down breakfast person.. I am all about the quick and on the go type of things
I skipped the Starbucks this week-well I went on Monday-but, since Tuesday, I have been whipping up a quick shake with whatever we had but making sure I included: 2 tbsp steel cut oats, 1 tsp chia seeds, 1 tsp flax seed, and 1 scoop of protein powder-yum!
5. Home cooked meals
I have been trying out new recipes for potential blog posts and have gotten some good ones such as these
90 calorie stuffed peppers-without cheese- ground chicken, quinoa, onions, tomatoes, squash, mmm mmm yum!
