Smoothies are literally the perfect start to any morning for me. I would take a smoothie over food any morning. However, I like variety. I love to play with various ingredients and consistencies. Currently, this is one of my faves!
What You Will Need:
-1 medium beet
-1 cup fresh or frozen blueberries
-1/2 seeded orange
-3/4 cup almond milk
-1 tbsp hempseed
-1 tbsp chia seed
What You Will Do
1. dice beet into bite sized pieces and place in a steamer over boiling water. cover and steam for 20-25 minutes.
2. once cool to the touch, add to blender.
3. add the rest of the ingredients and blend until smooth.
