Peanut Apple Blender Bars [Recipe]

If you are in need of a virtually guilt free treat, these are definitely for you. These are totally flour and sugarless so in my book, they are totally diet friendly!

What You Will Need:
1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce
1/2 cup peanut butter
1 egg
1/4 tsp baking soda
1/4 cup agave
1 tbsp vanilla
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp apple pie spice
1 apple diced

What You Will Do:
1. preheat oven to 400 and prepare a pan
2. add all of the ingredients (except the apple) to a blender.
3. blend on a low speed until incorporated
4. gently fold in apples
5. pour into the prepared pan
6. bake for 10 minutes

other variations:
-lime: add 2 tbsp of lime juice to batter and top with lime zest
-almond butter crunch: sub almond butter in the base and add chopped almonds to mix
-blueberry: add 1/2 cup blueberries to batter
-peanut butter and jelly: add 1/2 the batter to pan, put 1 tsp of jelly in each slot, top with other half of batter
-coconut: add toasted coconut to batter and top

basic base for variations:
1/2 cup peanut butter

  5. the main reason I want to win is because we had been gifted an ipad- me and my 2 daughters were sharing it (as well as my husband sometimes)--- well, in the fall, around Halloween- I had taken it outside to take pics of my landscaping and decorations--- I left it in the front on my front wall.... apparently it fell, and my mom came to drop my older daughter off ---- and ran it over.... so now we have no more ipad for anyone to use... it would make all of us really happy to have one again! not to mention the kate spade case is gorgeous :) ty so much for the chance! really hoping to win since I really can't afford to go out and just drop $200+ on another ipad...
