Weekend Rewind+ Blogger Challenge Week 6

F R I D A Y
Fruday was a pretty uneventful. After the start it had on Thursday, I pretty much just laid low, worked on blog stuff and watched a few movies I have been waiting to watch.-If you haven't seen The Intern with Anne Hathaway and Robert DiNiro I highly recommend it! When John woke up, we ordered pizza for dinner and proceeded to Netflix and Chill!

S A T U R D A Y
was much more eventful. I was up pretty early getting some work done before heading to the mall. I am going up to Massachusetts next week and had to pick up a few cooler weather things. Afterwards, I had my first dress alteration appointment-eek! I have to go back March 2nd for a final fitting! Afterwards, John, his Aunt Kathy, Grammie, and I headed to Tampa for the State Fair.

We ate everything from ribbon fries and strawberry shortcakes to funnel cake pizza and wok noodles! -we are total foodies at the fair!

S U N D A Y

I kicked off my Sunday with the rest of the SYBL admins hosting a twitter chat! Afterwards John helped me prep some salsa for later on. We had a watch party for 7. Since the Patriots weren't in the game, we were all for Cam Newton and the Panthers! I have to say, I was wicked underwhelmed with the whole thing. The game was god awfully boring, the commercials were horrid and I LOVED Coldplay at the halftime show but I felt like they were way over shadowed by "queen bee" shamelessly selfpromoting her new tour Formation-like we got it the first 30 times you repeated it.

Anyways, I hope you all had safe and enjoyable weekends!

Join us on Wednesday 2/10 for our next SYBL Chat!

Welcome Back to Week Six of the 52 Week Blogger Challenge
This week is all about the fur babes. If you have been around here a while, you will know that these two rule the roost.

Name: Chloe, Chlo Chlo, Chlobee, Chlo
Age: 14 (ish)
Breed: Shiba Inu
Favorite Treat: Sweet Potato Paws
Favorite Toy: John's Socks
This princess is our little rescue baby. I adopted her five years ago. She has been such a bright spot in my life. Her and Yoda get along so well and she loves a good tummy rub.

Name: Yoda Wilks Ricker, Yoda, YoYo
Age: 6
Breed: Boston Terrier
Favorite Treat: absolutely anything

This handsome devil is THE KING. His favorite activity is waiting until you are all cozy in your blankets and then ripping them all off of you and wrapping himself in them. He also really loves car rides and people food.

What are your furbabes like?

  1. I was so upset with the commercials during the super bowl this year! That is always the one thing I really look forward to and the only ones I enjoyed were the 2 doritos commercials and I was really disappointed with the Budweiser commercial! The pizza funnel cake on your snap chat this weekend looked delicious!! Have a wonderful Monday!

  2. I totally agree about the game. It was terribly boring for a Superbowl but I am really happy that the Broncos won. And as for your dogs? So adorable!

  3. So jealous of your fair food! I need some in my life, but around here it's strictly a summer thing!

  4. I saw The Intern in theatres and loved it! I'm not a big movie person, but I was impressed with that one. Sounds like you had a great weekend!

  5. I was not overly impressed with the superbowl this year! I love Coldplay but don't know if the superbowl is the right place for them to perform. I feel like that stage needs more energy! Still a great show by them, though.

  6. Agree.. the game was boring. I was on my laptop doing Facebook threads and talking to my sister. Brian was the only one watching. I loved the halftime show. COLDPLAY was amazing.

  7. I have not seen the intern yet but it looks really good!! As for the Superbowl I watched some of it. I am really happy Denver won. I am not a fan of Cam Newton, so I hope the loss will bring his cockiness down a few notches. Your fur babies are adorable! I rescued both of mine and they are completely spoiled rotten!

  9. My favorite part of the Superbowl were the snacks. Seriously, such an underwhelming game and so boring. Even though the Bronco's won, Peyton wasn't anything to bat my eyes at. Although I hate the Broncos, I'm glad he won in a way; I hope that means he will retire and get out of the way for TB12 to win next year!

  10. Sounds like a great weekend! I love fair food but it's crazy to think of the fair at this time of year since it's so cold here in Minnesota! :)
