Doin' Big Things on Friday

Happy Friday lovelies!

I hope you all have been having a great week! I started my week off in Massachusetts so this week has been a bit crazy.

last Friday, I took an early morning flight to MA. Emily, our maid of honor and my twin, got us tickets to the Red Sox opening day game on Monday. I decided to come in a few days early to see the family. We ate at all my fav restaurants and it was a great time.

opening day. oh boy. if you follow me on snapchat (@ssarahhh14) you will know that opening day got the best of me. however, it was SO fun! We went into Boston just the two of us then met up with Em's friends from work. We also saw our Best Man and "little sister" at the game. Being at Fenway is unlike any other ball park. As corny as it sounds, it really is an experience. After the game, we decided the trains were too busy to get back so we stayed around the area to drink some more. (bad idea). My head and body were not happy with me and the flight back to FL the next day was a struggle. #worthit

Tuesday marked one month of being a Mrs! Doing life with you so far has been pretty grand!

as soon as I landed in FL, John picked me up and we headed to the house we fell in love with last week. We did one more walk through and made an offer! On Wednesday afternoon, the sellers came back at us with a counter offer that we accepted and just like that, we are officially in the home buying process!

So, I know I mentioned that I no longer wanted to have fake nails but guys, I just can't do it! My natural nails are SO thin and brittle. I really tried for two weeks with the shellac thing but my nails are still bending and weak so I caved and got a new set put on yesterday! I. am. in. love. shout out to my nail girl! The picture doesn't do the purple justice but they are super matte with a little sparkle!

I hear ya on the fake nails...I did that for my wedding and it really damaged my nails for a while. It takes time but they will go back to normal!! =)

  7. I used to get fake nails but after my nails were always so brittle so I stopped getting them for awhile and my nails are healthy again and work so much better with shellac.
