March Favorites

Another month, another favorites post. March was such a crazy-in the best way possible- month. Since J and I got married, we were crazy busy running around doing the last minute errands for the first week and a half of March then, all of our friends and family came in then it was our big day and before we knew it, we were off in paradise on our Honeymoon. Through all of that though, I still have some favorites to share!

B E A U T Y

-Maybelline FaceStudio Master Contour Palette: a perfect dupe for the Urban Decay Naked Flushed Palette at a quarter of the cost! Wears great all day.

-Colourpop Ultra Matte Lippy in Teeny Tiny: this color gives me all the heart eyes! It is perfect for a rainy day or a night out.

-Ulta Twisted Volume Mascara: I am obsessed! This mascara is great for an on the go. The design of the tube lets you choose how much volume you want to add (from level 1-4). It isn't clumpy and the wear is great.

-Bosica White Charcoal Setting Spray: Pricey, yes but worth it and a better quantity than the Urban Decay setting spray.

-Clean&Clear Duel Action Moisturizer: After our honeymoon, I came back a teeny bit burnt which then resulted in the lovely peeling process. This moisturizer isn't new but it was all I had on hand when I realized how bad my face was looking. I put on a thick layer for over night and then a very light layer for under my make up and it is a miracle worker!

-Sephora Pearl Sheet Mask: Anyone who truly knows me, knows I am 100% an Ulta girl. However, I was watching reviews on YouTube of these sheet masks, I was intrigued. I bought several however, the pearl one was the only one I really saw a payoff from.

F O O D
Quinoa. I am obsessed! John and I are really trying to get on a healthy kick and replacing 'normal' grains with whole grains. Quinoa is now our substitute for rice and pasta! It is so easy to add flavor into it as well.

M O M E N T
-when J and I walked on to the dance floor to perform our first dance. Although there were 80+ people in the room, in that moment, it felt like just he and I and it was perfect.

E X P E R I E N C E
while we were in St. Lucia, we went on a day tour where we were able to go snorkeling. at first I was terrified of the idea but John promised me it would be okay and well, it was the most amazing part of the trip. We saw over 20 different species of coral and fish-it was incredible!

  10. Snorkeling in St. Lucia sounds so fun! I did that on my honeymoon in Maui and saw a lot of fish and some turtle. It was one of the highlights of our trip too!
